Crushed - "Narc" (Song Debut)

Crushed Deep User

Crushed have been staples of NYC’s hardcore scene for a while now. The band, who share members with Hunter Hunt-Hendrix’s band Survival, are self-releasing a new EP called Deep User on April 14. It was recorded and mixed by Ben Greenberg of Uniform and, in a way, Deep User is sort of the inverse of Uniform’s new album. While Uniform make harsh noise with a distinct influence from hardcore punk, Crushed kinda flip the formula. We’re premiering the EP’s “Narc,” a punk crusher covered in a layer of static. Check it out below.

Crushed play their hometown this Sunday (3/12) at Saint Vitus opening for straight edge supergroup SECT (members of Earth Crisis, Catharsis, Cursed and Fall Out Boy/Racetraitor drummer Andy Hurley). That’s a 2 PM matinee, and Hangman are on the bill too. Tickets are still available.

Speaking of Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, he opens the NYC stop of Wrekmeister Harmonies’ tour, and he also contributes to the new M. Lamar album.
