Black metal hoodie only $1265 at Barneys
Heavy metal is a community of nonconformists, and all you have to do to be a nonconformist is dress just like us and listen to the same music we do. This of course means you’ll need some metal gear for the next metal show you go to, and luckily Barneys is selling a Vetements black metal hoodie for the low, reasonable, metal price of $1,265. It says “Vetements” (the name of the Parisian “design collective,” French for “clothes”) in “unreadable black metal logo” font. It’s as trve as hoodies come.
This all sound familiar? That might be because this is not the first time we’ve seen Vetments darken their logo in the name of fashion. They’re also the ones behind that similar hoodie Kanye West famously wore, part of a trend that Kanye applied to recent tour merchandise.
