The cartoonish art for Voivod’s Target Earth may not be my favorite (or anywhere near that), but there is no denying the impressive songwriting on the veteran Canadian band’s latest LP and first for Century Media. Stream all of Target Earth, the band’s 13th release, below. Order yours at the label.

YES!! One of my favourite bands ever and this sounds like the best thing they’ve done in ages. I seem to be alone in liking the artwork too!
Stoked on getting this! Not surprised how good it is!
This is amazing!I really wasn’t expecting it to come out this well
correct me if I’m wrong here, but does “Mechanical Mind” begin with a ripoff/homage to Rush’s “Xanadu”???
That’s what I’m hearing eh. Canucks!
The bass sound, the slightly dissonant riffs and the overall reliance on more challenging rythms reminds more of Dimension Hatröss/Nothingface than the previous albums. It’s funny to hear lyrics sung in french on Corps Étranger!
The cover does kind of look like something I would have drawn as a kid not paying attention in math class. Didn’t one of the band members do it though?
really love that band!
