Don’t let the name PLF (Pretty Little Flower) fool you, this Texas grindcore trio is one mean set of sum-bitches. Featuring the drumming talents of Bryan Fajardo (Phobia, Noisear, Kill the Client, Gridlink) alongside the ripping guitars/vocals of Dave Callier, PLF tear through a new set of crust-grind destruction on Devious Persecution and Wholesale Slaughter, the band’s new LP due via Six Weeks Records on February 8th. Check out the thrashy monster “Blistered Dejection” available for streaming for the first time below.
Might I suggest a name change to Palestine Liberation Front or maybe, as urban dictionary suggests, Party Like Fuck? Both seem more appropriately brutal.

PLF PLF PLF PLF PLF PLF PLF PLF PLF!
What I like about the name is it isn’t what you are expecting. It’s what made me want to check their set out at MDF a few years ago (when they were a three piece still). New song sounds solid. Can’t wait to get my hands on the full album!
wow. here’s a band i never thought i’d see on IO. hopefully that means plf will start getting some wider love.
I’ve seen PLF about 5 times in the last 4 years, I do prefer Frank’s drumming, it’s a lot more thrash/speed metal influenced.
Is it me or does this sound a bit too much like Noisear?
hey guys, thanks for sharing our song! We have actually had a bass player (our fifth, ha!) since mid-2011, Marshall, of bands like IPV.
And I hear ya, Carm, Frank’s a good drummer, but Bryan is too. Keep Grinding, thanks for the support, y’all—Dave PLF
is this that doom stuff ive been hearing about?
PLF = pulverizing lethal force
PLF = “PL”ay “F”ast
PLF = proudly losing finals
