not that great of a line up, at all.
Usually I’m disappointed that tours like this only come as close as KC or Denver. I should be so lucky.
I find the lack of a VA/MD/D.C. date puzzling.
Well, they wouldn’t want to pass up the chance to play New Haven. Yale loves Cannibal Corpse.
I hope youre fucking kidding about the line up not being good.
I think I’m going to do a kickstarter to get Immolation to play by themselves in my local bar.
Too bad the 100th Issue lineup didn’t hit the road…talk about epic.
Is it too late to just have Watain and In Solitude again? Alternatively, I would settle for a “Scum” Side A Reunion.
I agree, this line up is pretty average, yeah big bands a lot of us have seen a bunch of times.
Wow…Like all three bands AREN’T fun as shit to see live?!?! I’m surprised there haven’t been any crybaby “I hate Decibel” comments yet…maybe Chips and Beer will have a better tour for y’all.
My only disappointment is that I’ve seen Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death within the past year. Napalm Death I’m happy to see again. Cannibal Corpse, while fun, isn’t for me worth the long drive given that I just saw them. But I’ve never seen Immolation, really want to see them, and read somewhere recently (here, maybe) that they’re not a touring band anymore. So I’ll make the trip to Chicago for sure. Last year’s inaugural tour was fun as hell, and I expect this one to be too.
If I’m reading the tiny print on the flyer correctly, the Chicago date features Beyond the Creation, the only one of the three rotating slot bands I’ve never heard of before. Anyone hear heard /seen them? Are they good?
Beyond Creation is tech death, similar in sound to Gorod, Spawn of Possession, etc. They’re pretty good at what they do.
Beyond creation is all progressive, epic and fast riffs, sweet melodic part, H U G E tech, lot of feeling on each parts and great screams… Theses guys are crazy on evreything they do. Espically on stage ! If u like fast and tech bipolar bands on sounds, you got what you’re serching for in beyond creation !
Beyond Creation!!!
Not as great as last year, but at least it’s not at the House of Blues ( THANK FUCK!)
May is going to be intense with this and MDF.
Pedestrian, but, eminently safe and still killer main lineup. No proper Los Angeles date?
Gonna censor this, too, new IO editors?
