Excellent article. God damn, how I wish one of those NWN festivals was held in the US!
EPIC review and photos. i cant even imagine what revenge would be like live. holy fuck. what a description! and the blasphemy pics and review are awesome as well! good fucking work! makes this end of the day in my fucking office go by so much faster!
wow, when did metal get taken over by fat bald guys? Well, I guess metal itself is now middle aged.
it’s funny because is true.
It was a KILLER fest though I wouldn’t say every band blew me out of the water. The ones that did were Dead Congregation, Embrace of Thorns, Sabbat, Ares Kingdom, Blasphemophager, and Rotting Christ. Revenge were cool, but without Helmkamp it was awkward to watch. Great pics of the event by the way. I went through several hundred euros buying merch. Too bad the Maveth and Vassafor show was cancelled on Sunday as well. I was looking forward to that as a killer send off back to the U.S. from Berlin.
Killer review, it was chaotic excellent fest, and the “cancelled” after party show did happen, but only Tyrant’s Blood and Vassafor performed there, it was earlier on Sunday around 5:00am…
Yeah, that last minute set by Vassafor and Tyrant’s blood at 5 AM doesn’t really constitute the actual show that was supposed to happen. =\ I didn’t even know the Storms of Damnation gig was cancelled until Sunday afternoon as I was nursing a hell of a hangover.
So, Invisible Oranges has no intentions of reviewing Thaumiel?
