Someone should do a documentary on the Chicago scene as it has evolved over the years. Great bands from that region.
Carm’s live reviews never get enough love on this site.
These reviews are great. In this case, however, the only band I’m really familiar with is Gates of Slumber and I just don’t like them at all. I’ve listened to Cianide but not too much. Superchrist sounds like a band I really need to check out though!

Almost went to this but ended up just going to Kuma’s and getting drunk instead…kinda wish I went.
This show was killer, and the perfect way to end a fantastic year for shows in Chicago. Gates of Slumber were boring, but every other band fucking SLAYED. Perfect sound as usual at The Bottle, with Cianide taking the cake in the heavy as hell department. Fuck Kumas.
