…
Hells Headbangers are on a tear, churning out quality metal the way it’s meant to be: raw, ugly, and blasphemous. The latest from The Royal Arch Blaspheme continues the grand tradition and lives up to its lineage. We get primitive, sludgy black metal from John Gelso (of Profanatica) and N. Imperial (of Krieg, Twilight, and a million more), and we get ferocious tirades against Christianity with song titles like “When the Cruel Nails Pierced Thy Tender Hands and Feet”.
It’s a straight black metal ‘banger. Nothing fancy, no extraneous crap. But underneath the surface filth, the songs show signs of careful construction. Tempos shift to serve the songs, and the bass is audible enough to keep things barreling forward. The final track, “Broken Word of God”, slows things down and just kills. II comes out one week from today, on Tuesday, July 31st. We’ll be streaming the album right up until the release date.

Knew right away it was Imperial and didn’t even read the text.
Glad to hear his voice again.
This sounds killer!
This is a really cool LP. I hope a lot of people get to hear it.
Hell’s Headbangers are killing it this year with new stuff from Pseudogod, Hellvetron, Mongrel’s Cross, Deiphago, and now this.
The Satanic Bloodspraying they just released is up there too – grimy and primitive, but deceptively complicated too. Haven’t head Deiphago but if it’s as good as that other stuff I’d better remedy that.
BTW Profanatica is one of the most underappreciated black metal bands that ever came from America. So harsh and grimy.

man….don’t know why but i seem to like this one a bit better than the last one, don’t get me wrong i loved the last disc as well but this one is…..i don’t know…..grimier, sicker sounding vibe wise?!?…like if for there first disc they just played with a ouija board… and then for this one they just got f*ck’in possessed man…….
Oh come on, just TRY and make up an album title, people. It’s not that hard.
