GO CARM!!!!!
So based on the Iron Cross necklace and the SS tattoo, I think it’s safe to say Craig Pillard is still a Nazi and Disma’s anti-nazi PR was just a bunch of B.S.
Anyone who associates the Iron Cross directly with Nazism is an idiot. Why don’t you call anyone with a German Shepard a Nazi while you’re at it?
Yeah, I was pretty bummed to see aforementioned necklace on Pillard’s neck as well. I mean the tattoos he can’t help, but he doesn’t have to wear that necklace. Come on, man. Don’t make me have to hate all the awesome records you’re a part of it!
cry a river
Maybe I will.
I had no idea Demigod had a pair of identical twins in the band. Double the fun, double the trouble, doubly creepy.
Jesus, did Jus eat their last rhythm section? That explain a couple of things! I love the guy but still. Also, it’s odd that Pillard has all the Nazi paraphernalia and is also wearing a shirt with an AK-47 on it. Kind of a weird mixed message there, isn’t it?
Can’t wait for part 2! Chaos in Tejas was a ton of fun.
Re: Jus Oborn’s impressive girth: Ha! All that weed must make him hungry. Or maybe he’s eaten one too many of the rook pies Liz Buckingham provided a recipe for in _Hellbent for Cooking_.
Re: Pillard’s t-shirt: Maybe that’s his way of deflecting criticism about his Nazi past by showing that he’s just a fan of totalitarianism and oppression in general. Really though, metalheads trying to appear edgy or evil by aligining themselves with ultra right-wing politics is beyond stale. Then again, pentagrams and inverted crosses don’t shock anyone anymore, so maybe this kind of bullshit is inevitable. All hail stupidity.
