The response to the Fugazi stage banter post was so great that I thought I’d share some similar treasures that you guys unearthed.

Paul Stanley stage banter
65 and a half minutes of Paul Stanley blathering between songs gets to be tedious. But, man, can he do an acapella. Download here.
Tom Araya stage banter
My favorite of this bunch. Some guy extracted Slayer song intros from ’80s boots. I am getting close to being able to recite them all from memory. Write-up and download here.
Mercyful Fate stage banter
From the Henry Kissinger War Criminal 7″. Raucous but fun. Very good write-up plus download link here.
Venom stage banter
The classic 7″ on Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace label. Stream or download the track here.
Scott Vogel stage banter
Not a download, but a website. Terror frontman Scott Vogel is such a factory of one-liners that there’s a website devoted to them. Keep refreshing the site to get more Vogelisms. I have spent entire meals refreshing this site and laughing my arse off. (File Under: Things One Can Only Do While Single.)

People can say what they want about Terror, but I've seen them turn a room of folding arms into a room of chaos in about 2 minutes. His one-liners are great.
I was just talking about he Fugazi post at work and my coworker brought up the Paul Stanly album. Glad I can hear it now.
all these and a lot more were on a series called Shut Up and Play – Brian Turner from WFMU radio compiled them for his radio show — great station
dude…the Manly Stanley. so epic.
Yeah, Anonymous beat me to it–the stage banter comp/series on WFMU is great–especially Cronos–in fact, I believe the Beastie Boys sampled his 'AWWWRIIIGGGHHTT, YEAH!' part on 'Paul's Boutique'. There's also some hilarious shit of Elvis flubbing lyrics/making up lyrics and generally turning the whole thing into a comedy routine. There's a ridiculously rare record of this called "Having fun on stage with Elvis". I don't think anybody realizes how fuckin funny he was.
I like the Lee Ving stage banter on the Decline Of the Western Civilization movie.
Slayer and Stryper to Appear on New Fox Reality Show, ?Singer Swap?
LOS ANGELES?It was announced this morning that both infamous heavy metal bands, Slayer and Stryper, will appear on a Fox reality show entitled, ?Singer Swap,? a show based on the successful ABC show, ?Wife Swap,? in which two couples completely unlike each other exchange wives for a week. A spokesperson for Fox said…
By far my fave so far on the Vogel page, "If you're a little dude get a bunch of other little dudes and take a big motherfucker down".
Anyone know where I can get the “Slayer Speaks” Banter? the page was taken down quite awhile ago.
