20 Buck Spin is a label you should know. With releases spanning metal’s spectrum, proprietor Dave Adelson (interviewed here) chooses quality over quantity. This year we’ve especially liked the Stormcrow/Laudanum split (reviewed here) and the Liturgy full-length (reviewed here). But, really, we like everything on 20 Buck Spin. Here is a sampler of the label’s offerings, with one track hand-picked by Adelson from each release this year. Upcoming are albums from White Mice (out Oct. 20) and Megasus (out Nov. 24).

Love 20 Buck Spin. Coffins, The Endless Blockade, Sanctum (RIP), Hammers of Misfortune and Samothrace put out some of the most exciting albums of the last decade. Also love the fact they named their label after a Pentagram song. Groovy.
Of the 10 billion releases Nadja has put out, this one doesn't seem half bad…that White MIce sounds good too. Thanks for posting this.
Hey nice Megasus, these guys are from Harmonix who worked on the Rock Band games.
Giving Southern Lord a run for their money let alone Hydra Head, Echtra, Nadja/Black Boned Angel, Liturgy, all great albums and Laudanum – The Coranation tops em' all.
