Struck by Lightning’s Serpents comes out today on Translation Loss. Don’t worry, it’s metal, not metalgaze. I reviewed it for Decibel, so no full review here. But I can say this: it’s like a combination of Tragedy, High on Fire, and Remission-era Mastodon, and it smokes. If you like Iron Age, you’ll love Struck by Lightning. Debuts this developed are rare now. This is a band to watch.
