Every year, there’s a new fear that keeps the economy greased–whether it’s Avian Bird Flu, Y2K or whatever, we can be guaranteed that there will be a new boogeyman or that the sky is falling, every year.
Someone told me that, statistically speaking of all the massive population in Mexico and worldwide, no more people died of this Swine Flu that they do of the regular flu. I dunno whether that’s true or not–and it’s crappy that some have caught this flu– but really, it’s not like thousands of people have died, there’s one person in Canada that apparently caught it, and they can’t even prove right now that the person didn’t die of other causes.
