The sad fucking postscript to this is that the show was actually this past Sunday and I didn’t go because Seattle was treated to snow and ice and I flaked on it. I will, though, be buying their new record.

I get this image of a toy set (like the Metallica and Kiss ones) – “My First Grindcore Band (TM)” How strange, a day show for the band. I bet they’ll bring the ruckus, though. I’m curious as to how it goes.

I’m excited that I’m actually going to get to see this band play in Seattle a week from Sunday. 99% of metal shows here are at a place impossible to go to without a car, but Fuck the Facts are playing a cheap 4pm matinee with local black metal band Book of Black Earth at a tiny bar called the Sunset Tavern. I’m hoping that the allure of a female singer will get my girlfriend out to witness her first grindcore band.
